This is a space to share some artwork of my own, eventually highlight exciting afro-futuristic creatives, and eventually post music thoughts on funk and bathos.
ABOUT
Chris Gipson (he/him) was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Chris wrote his dissertation on cannibalism in ancient Greek literature at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Outside of an interest in Greco-Roman mythology, I am an avid fan of Funk music, afrofuturistic art, "New Weird" and ecological science-fiction, and experimenting in the kitchen.
